Anyone running a CJ intake with a centri? Is it even possible to make the intake tube fit/work?

On our kit, you would have to make a custom tube, since that intake is a OVAL TB, and not a round unit. The Boss302 works fine with our system, just a heads up.

I was told by beefcake the cj works best with boost if you switch back to the round TB

Tuning will be better on stock tb with the gt350. And on blow through, not really needed

on a cj, the bigger throttle body is fine on a procharger

on a vortech / paxton the manifold won't work, the tb will hit the blower

What boost are you running? Why not the GT350?

Running 10psi now, bumping up to 12.
No offense to anyone running the GT350 intake....ugliest intake I have ever seen. I like results and curb appeal both. If the stock intake cover would fit I would consider the GT350 since I have a custom painted cover.

No offense taken. I wouldn't care if it looked like a dog's butthole as long as it performed.

The factory engine cover won't fit a gt350 intake fyi.

When you say won't fit with a Paxton, are you referring to the CJ intake manifold?

Do a Boss 302 intake manifold. Looks great costs 1/4 of a CJ setup and they do perform a lot better in real life than most people think (people get hung up on the dyno numbers down low).
