Hey guys so I will be getting a chemical guys foam gun for my black Mustang. Which cleaner would you recommend for the foam gun? Is it all just a preference or do some work better than others? I also have a bigwormgraphix stripe kit, not sure if that impacts the type of cleaner I go with though.

Depends on the degree of dirty. For my weekly clean I run mr pink or honeydoo thru my foam gun but if it's a little more I use citrus wash and gloss. The V07 is another solid choice for lighter washes too.

It would be just for a weekly wash. No crazy amount of dirt or anything like that. How is the wash and wax shampoo? Like I said it would be for weekly cleaning.

Haven't used the combo stuff. I prefer to do my cleaning and waxing in steps. My weekly is typically a wash with mr pink and the 'after wash' drying/shine stuff followed by hybrid V07 quick detailer when needed. It may be worth a shot for the 2 in 1 stuff, but might be excessive for weekly washes.

It wouldn't harm the paint though would it? If I do decide to try it out?

Ended up going with Mr. pink! Do you guys have any complaints with it?
