going bring in my car for the second time. the first time they cleared the code it had multiple misfire codes along with the crank sensor I had the mechanic go drive it and it was fine so great will I was driving home about 57 miles later after visiting my buddy I went out and started it up and bam rough idle and cel on so I shut it off and restarted it cel on but runs fantastic i plugged my diagnostics tool in just to read the codes lost the codes but it said crank sensor and #8 cylinder misfire so any way i m bringing in to dealer hopefully they'll hook me up

only mod is cat back it was doing before it also and after words

well my dealer is going to have to keep. it for a few days. bank 2 had multiple cylinder misfires. he told me he believes its with out a doubt an electrical glitch some were. so their going to start checking all the component's to try and see which one is acting up periodically. fingers crossed

yes sir it surly sucks ass big time. He showed me a chart or graph almost like a dyno chart. You can see bank 2 is no were near bank one. looks like a hart monitor graph.

no you have to had bought the extended warranty. 45,000 car and no loaner with basic warranty a first for me

Yeah, that's terrible! I would call Ford Motor Company and issue a complaint.

GM has same warranty restrictions for loaners. Only Corvettes, Cadillacs, and hybrids have loaners with the factory warranty.

When I took my '13 base in i literally just had to ask for a loaner and I got it... That's a dumb restriction when YOU put the faulty part on the car. It's not ok to inconvenience the customer for YOUR errors.

I would understand if the damage was something that you caused but I feel that if it's a warranty issue they should provide it. It's not like they're deducting anything for the days that you don't have your car. I would have told them that's it's your only car.

I think the loaner thing depends on your dealer. I know lincoln's are guaranteed a loaner, but if they have plenty available they would be able to loan one out to a regular ford guy.

OK, that's what I have en-route :doh: I hope yours is an isolated issue and I hope it doesn't require you to wait for an engine replacement.
