I have a 2018 stage 2 whipple car. Kooks without kitties and 3in back to the axles. I had it dyno tuned and i bought a size smaller blower pulley for 1lb more boost. Can the computer adapt for that or is it a mandatory tune thing? My tuner is not available at the this time as he is off for medical.

Edit: sorry, meant to post this in the forced induction section.

For 1lb of boost you should be fine. These ECU's are pretty detailed and can usually account for the difference of a pound of boost or 2 but anymore than that, I would recommend a tune adjustment. I would however recommend datalogging it just to make sure everything is ok.

If your fuel system is sufficient for the increased power, it will be fine. STFT’s usually support a 10-15% swing in power on one calibration. 02’s always measure lambda, and the ECU targets the commanded lambda.
