The oil in my 2017 only has about 600 miles on it and i am wondering if I should change it before winter or should I just wait for spring?

the car will be driven rarely (a few miles per month) and sit in the garage.
Thoughts??

You may want to purchase products now, no telling what next spring will be like.

600 miles is not a lot and the oil should still be in good shape. You don’t HAVE to change it.

But, I personally probably would change it before storing it. Especially if you do the work yourself.

for me it’s cheap price for peace of mind.

I spoke with oil engineers about this. They recommend an oil change before storage. But, 600 miles is pretty light use

The more important question is how OLD is your oil. After enough time it will turn acidic no matter how many miles are on the car.

I change mine every Nov, before storage, Oil that is used in anyway is contaminated and should be changed before storage. Also fill the fuel tank.

I have the same question, have little over 600 on my oil change as well, but I use Mobil full synthetic any issues with synthetic oil with some miles since oil change?
