Finally took delivery of my 2022 Premium Mach 1 last week after a 12 month wait. NEVER thought I it would take that long! I have figured out about 99.8% of the settings for the instrument cluster. What I haven’t been able to find is how to change from gauges to odometer/trip while driving without having to go back into the settings menu. Can’t figure out how to do this after a week of reading and YouTube searches. Is this possible to do on the cluster? If not, this feature would be a great update to be added to the next firmware update. Maybe a option to link the gauges and odo/ trip meters together. Making it possible to use the up/down arrows to scroll through the analog gauge, digital gauge and then to the tip/odometer and tire pressure readings on the fly
Have I just missed something in the 400+ page manual or is this not possible?

feedback is appreciated………….

Good evening Robert and welcome to the forum. Unfortunately you do have to go through the settings. Since it’s only a two button push no one’s complained about it. I do not recall there ever being a workaround for it.

Bikeman315,

Thank you for the reply. Yes, I would agree a simple 2 button push by feel to go from gauges to odo/trip meter and the tire psi. A little more difficult to go back to the gauge mode while driving trying to focus my 64 year old eyes on 2 things at once. The only real reason for me wanting the odo mode is that screen gives me the tire psi. I could care less about gas mileage, trip mileage or total mileage while driving. The TPM does give you a warning signal at some point that a tire is losing pressure, correct? Another thing I’m going to have to retrain myself on is the reverse collar. I have had manual Mustangs my whole life and have a habit of putting the shifter between my fore and middle fingers. I will have to remind myself not to pull up on this accidentally while power shifting……
Again, thank you for replying.

It's only a two button shift if that's the last place you were in the menu. Otherwise it's an arbitrary number of up/down clicks. Very frustrating.

I'm trying to teach my thumb to do it without instruction from the brain, but it's taking time.

You waited a year? Why didn't you just go buy one?

yeah, I waited a year after ordering before it until it finally showed at my dealer. Seemed like one supply chain issue after another delayed my configuration. Besides, I had a price lock at the 2021 base price and 2021 freight charges when I did the docu signing for the order. I saved around $2500+ by waiting. I did look at other dealers in the southern/central Ca region 150+ mile away after placing my local order but, they ALL wanted 5-10K over sticker or had a whole bunch of dealer added Junk. Everywhere I went to buy it seemed they all wanted to “retire” from the sale. This was not the way my local dealer (15 miles) wants to operate. He only had 1 allocation for the Mach 1 and 1 for the GT500. I missed the 500 by a few weeks. Yes it was very hard to wait the year, but I’m glad I did and saved all the ADMs and price changes. I have been buying from this guy since 1990 and the dealership has always done me right.
