Haha.

Waiting on the V8 wrangler. Was just hoping I could throw my kids in the gt500 as they would enjoy it.
Start searching junk yards. Wrecked GT with leather are not uncommon. Cheaper than a new Jeep.

Finally got my Trackhawk after a 6 month wait. Hopefully your 392 is much less.

Yeah looking around thereā€™s a lot of used seats on eBay from GT Mustang ā€˜s. Some with the Suede inserts pretty close to the GT500 recaro seats. Iā€™m just gonna pick up a set of those I think

So I ended up getting a brand new set of skins off of a Recaro spec GT 500. This is great because now my front and rear seats will match perfectly. I was able to find a used 2015 seat for $80 on eBay.

All I need to get now is Seatbelts, the striker latch points for the backseats and I think the studs and nuts to bolt the seatback hinge to the floor.

I am going to buy the seatbelts on eBay.

I guess the best place to source the studs and nuts for securing down the seat backs upright would be the dealer.

Anyone have a part # for these ??

Here is a pic of what I need.

Any advice appreciated.

Ty

Did you order everything from Ford direct? Or did you source elsewhere?

I am looking to do this as well

A wrecked GT is probably a higher quality vehicle than a new Jeep too....

(both my JKs were nightmares)

I work at a dealership. So i sourced all of the belts/buckles/hardware from my own department. i sourced the rear seat assemblies from ebay. Just went with leather from a 19 GT premium. To build out the seat assemblies through Ford is quite expensive but it is possible.

The only part that was a problem was the rear lower seat hinge due to backorder. Though some ebay sellers may include that with the rear seat assemblies.

Thank you so much. Did you change your rear parcel shelf out or did you use the one your car came with ? I was thinking it wouldnā€™t be too hard to cut out a relief for the striker plates

I cut the parcel shelf spot for the striker plates. when the seats are up its not noticeable. They are not that expensive to replace either if i sell the car and return it to stock. i think it was $160 dealer net for a new one.

I was looking at parcel shelves on Tasca and eBay and they were in the 200 some dollar range which I thought was a lot. I am just gonna cut the shelf. Dealerships are so Brain dead they wonā€™t even notice it when you sell it or trade it in .

Thankfully, I have the rear seat hinge.

I also need the part number for the bolt that secures the center seat hinge to the floor

Also regarding part # W708166-S424 is that the stud and the nut or just the stud ?

Thanks a million !!
