Just got mine back from the painter. Any tips on the install or to get a better adhesion with the tape?

If they didn't include adhesion promoter, I would get some 3M Adhesion Promoter. First dry fit the part and mark with masking tape or template if provided exactly where it will go. Since it's 3 pieces (I think) make sure you're getting the all lined up together. Start with the center piece as the 2 outside will need to line up to it. Wipe the area that the tape will go on very well with denatured alcohol to remove any wax. Then apply the adhesion promoter waiting the recommended time for curing. Leave the red plastic covering on the 2-sided tape, pull about an 1" or 2" off the corner of each piece and tape it to the outside of the part with masking tape. Lightly set the piece in place, keep ensuring all parts line up. Then while holding the part still, start pulling the red protecting plastic off the 2-sided tape at about a 45* angle in the direction you're going being careful not to break the red protecting off as you pull. Push down just a little behind as you go to set the piece. After all of the tape is stuck down, press firmly along all edges of the part so it will seat well. I'd repeat that part again a few times over the 24 hour period, more towards when you first install it.

Make sure this is done in 70-80* weather and it should be kept in that temp for 24 hours to cure, not in direct sunlight.

Badluck Did you have Cervini's paint it or get a local shop to paint it? I like the gloss black end caps.
I would like to know this as well, and whether or not the end caps are removable, would like to wrap mine satin black to match my wheels perfectly :)
