Cervini ram air hood question

1st drive after install and cruising the IAT's stayed between 2-3 above ambient. Before I installed the duct with the Ram Air hood my IAT's stayed around 5-6 above ambient temps. It seems to cool down quicker after stopped when temps rise a little then start moving again.

1st impression I like the addition to the hood.

I don't know if I would say perfect. I had a little trouble climbing in there with the hood shut. :lol:

I think all intakes will be slightly different. Mine is the GT350 intake but it sits right where most do. I think most will sit near that same spot as the stock air box. I'm not sure which intake Cervini used to model the location of where the air was directed but when I tried to determine where the opening was going, it looked like it was almost perfect over my intake box.

Is water ever an issue? I have that intake as well.

sorry this is an old tread, but any one have any advice for installing the duct? mine didnt come with any screws, I have 3m tape, but need to know what size/how many screws i should use.

Call Cervinis, they have great customer service! I wouldn't risk it, you definitely don't want the screws coming through the hood.
