After about one week at Lusso's Auto Spa here in Vegas the beast has a new shield of armor. If you are in the Vegas area hit these guys up. They are super nice guys and big-time car freaks... very very detail orientated. ask for Jon and tell'em I sent you.

First they did a 3 step paint correction. Then on went 4 coats of Ceramic Pro 9H. The ceramic pro was applied over the Ultimate Xpel I have covering the hood, front bumper, front fenders and roof.

The rims were also treated front and inside.

Pictures do not do justice to the transformation to the look of the paint.
It has a permeant wet gloss look. If you are not familiar with ceramic coatings take a sec and watch some videos on youtube. It's amazing stuff.

It's expensive depending on how many coats, paint correction(anywhere between 2K-3K) but it's also a permanent protection that will maintain the paint and wet look for the lifetime of the car.

The car will never see wax again.
Soap and water returns it to it's wet gloss shine.

I'll post a video in a day or so where you can really see it pop.

If you are an OCD lunatic about your paint and are looking to burn a large sum of cash... Ceramic pro is a MUST HAVE.

Here is the video.

You guys are going to love any type of ceramic coating. Very minimal dust adheres to the exterior so you can go longer in between washes. It doesn't do much for wheels though. I find going with a bronze finish wheel helps hide the dust immensely.

Does it protect against keying? I'd like to see you test it.

looks amazing..i almost decided this is a must..does it prevent rock chips?
Yes, while nothing can prevent a big enough hit, ceramic pro will protect you against rock chips.

For extra protection I have XPEL Ultimate film over the front bumper, full hood, front bumpers, rear quarter fenders, roof, mirrors and headlights.

The ceramic pro is applied over the XPEL.
This is the best way to go.

It is expensive but to me totally worth it.
For a car I plan to keep forever and cost $65K plus, the extra couple grand is worth it.
Plus the results are insane.

Do some research. Watch some video and you'll see this stuff is phenomenal.

I still do not get the cost justification for this stuff....
The 'tech' applying it does not have a PhD from MIT; I'd bet most don't make over $20 hr. Even with a shop rate of $75 hr to cover overhead (rent, work comp etc) at an 8 hr day that comes to $600. 1 guy devoting 2 solid days to 'perfection' and your at $1200 labor. So on a $3000 job it is $1800 for the juice? I'd love to see the wholesale/retail invoicing on the 'juice'.

HOLY SH*T that looks good!!! In the somewhat near future I'm getting the Ceramic Pro done at a shop near me. Manheim, Pa has loads of detailing shops and tire shops because of the Manheim Auto Auction. The place I'm going to quoted me around $1,200 and had things done to my car in the past from them. They do many high end cars from the auction and do excellent work.
