About a month ago I had the entire car covered in 5 coats of ceramic pro. I also did the wheels and windows...just have to say that I am a big fan. Water just rolls off the car and it is super easy to keep clean. The shine is deep and looks amazing. Great product...dirt and dust just rinse off. i was on the fence about having this done but I think it is well worth the money.

About how much does that level of treatment go for? Is it a once in a lifetime application?

I paid $2400. Found a cheaper deal but paid more for a shop I trusted...I will take it in once a year to have a top coat applied as well. Sure makes it easy to keep the car clean!

Most people on here say covering the car is about 2k. I spoke to a couple of people and some friends and say it cost about $600. I am guessing they are talking about just getting one layer or a more basic coating. I need to do more research and see what is the difference. Can you offer any more help?

Is there any difference between CQuartz and Ceramic Pro?

I had quotes for $1800 and $2400...went with the more well known shop. They recommended Ceramic Pro, but I'm pretty sure CQuartz is similar. According to my shop, as long as I go in once a year and have a new top coat applied they guarantee the coating for life. The top coat is $400 a year. The biggest benefit (other than the deep color...I have a race red and it just looks deep) is the ease of taking care of the car. When out in rain, I just blow the water off with a leaf blower. The other day I couldn't and had to let it dry, so when I had time i rinsed the car off with a hose and it looked like new again. really makes it easy to keep clean.

I did CQuartz Ultimate before, but when I traded in for my new 2017, my wrap installer who does all the nano suggested I go with FlightShield Sapphire V1 this time. I am very happy with it and it has been used on mainly private jets and is now moving into cars. I have no baseline between the others, but it supposedly can handle much higher heat before it breaks down. It does seem a bit more glossy than the CQuart did.

Also he put it on over the Suntek PPF which was done to the entire car.
