One of the color combinations I've been looking at is Shadow Black with White Stripes and the Black Roof. I know it's crazy to pay extra to have the white stripes over less of the car, but I have to say I like the look and doubt many others would option the car in that way.

My question is if anyone knows what color black is used. In the Build/Price tool, the roof appears to change to a different shade of black when the black roof is selected.

I'm torn between that combo and the classic white with blue stripes... And every other frickin color combo there is. I need to make this decision soon or I risk losing the dealer I've found. Why does this car have to look so good in so many color combos???

I have struggled with the exact same issues, initially thought I would only order in the classic white with blue stripes (especially here in AZ) but liked the other colors too. In the end, I did not like total lack of color on the sides with the white. Then struggled between Granite and Impact Blue, both of which looked good with the black roof I thought. In the end, I went with Granite and the black stripes/white accent.

Yes, Magnetic, sorry. BTW, the big dealer in Las Vegas is asking $20k ADM on the 350, $60k ADM on the R. On the other hand, they have about 8 to 10 2014 Shelby 350's on their lot they are discounting $20k (most about $75k).

Shadow black and the black painted roof will NOT match. Shadow black has some very subtle blue metallic in it. I have seen this color next to plain black which the roof will be and it is not the same.

Just pull the stripes off the roof if they are not wanted.

Yep I am sure. Go look at a 2016 F250 - same color. Look at it in the sun when clean you will see for yourself it is not jet black. But I'm telling you it is subtle....real subtle....hence the name Shadow Black. In shade or darkness you will never see it. To me it looks like they tinted it with a midnight blue which has extremely fine flake or maybe a slight pearl but again you have to look for it.
