I have an Orange mustang with Ceramic. I wear suits , jeans , shorts . You name it . Interior gets dirty and colors are left before i got the right stuff.
I bought this product and worked perfect.
Wolfgang Leather Care Combo
The cleaner makes the seats look like New ! Conditioner keeps them looking that way.
Best money i have spent . especially when people always wonder how it looks so good.

Now it keeps everything clean and reduces color transfer because of the conditioner.

I use Griots Garage 3-in1 Leather product.

It works awesome and smells just like leather. It cleans, conditions and protects in one application (instead of needing multiple products).

I apply it with a micro fiber, rub it all in (even on the black "pleather" portions of the seats and on the stitched sections of my door panels). The product does not leave any oily/greasy residue, nor does it leave any "shiny" surface, it dries and looks natural.

Here is the product - I picked it up at my local AutoZone:

I've had my DIB with Ceramic leather interior since late November. Bought it used with 22k on it. Build date was Sept 2014. I wear jeans all the time, and have never had an issue with staining.

hmmm, well, that is good to know. it seems different folks have different experiences with these seats. Perhaps there are other factors, like temperature, sunlight, care taken with leather, etc.

The truth is they look fantastic!

thanks for your input! much appreciated.

I have had my red beauty for almost a year now, and I have had zero issues with the ceramic leather seats. I agonized way too much over these, but once I saw the car for the first time I never regretted my choice for a second.

I have been careful and I have no pets nor kids, but I don't think you have to be paranoid about it. About once a month a run a damp cloth with water over the seats. That ads moisture to the seats and takes off any dust, etc. Every other month now I do the same thing but with a good leather cleaner/conditioner. And that is that.

I love the fact most people are not getting this option, that way my car is a bit more original :-) It just looks super sharp.

Update:

25k miles as of 06/11/2017

Premium Ceramic leather seating surfaces holding up very well.

As stated above, I only use Griots leather products. No issues with discoloring, stains, wearing light or dark blue jeans, light or dark casual pants, any color shorts. No damages to seating surfaces when getting in and out of vehicle.

Granted I am careful when entering/exiting vehicle and do make sure leather is properly treated, but this is just to show potential buyers of a Ceramic Leather interior that it can hold up to accrued miles...

No, no, don't tell people how nice the ceramic interior is!! this way we are some of the few who drive around these beauties ;-)

I have seen a LOT of Mustangs, not one in ceramic. People are afraid, and, perhaps, for some people that is not a great idea. But I have no issues either, other than a bit of sagging on my seat (and I see the same in your photos). This is probably an issue with the leather quality, but it is ok. In terms of fading or picking up colors, no issues (although I do keep the car in the garage).

Update... Over 2-1/2 years now, and my ceramic seats still look brand new. So Happy I got these.

I'm coming up on a year (only ~7000 miles) but mine still look great. Occasionally I'll get a slight blue tint on the piping but it wipes off when I clean the seats.

No issues with mine so far on my '16. I've used Leatherique for a few years now on my wifes BMW, so I knew I'd be using it on my Mustang after I pulled the trigger. I was on the fence about the ceramic interior when I was shopping S550's, but I absolutely love it now. Tons of positive comments about it too. I find it odd that it was mentioned ceramic interior was hard to find. The dealer I bought my new leftover 2016 from this past March had three new 2016's, all with ceramic interior - two oxford white and one ruby red.

When I first laid eyes on the ceramic I had to get it, the striking contrast catches the eye and adds a little refinement to the interior. I love it. Ask me again 5 years from now and I may have a different opinion. Mine is a DD and I wear jeans to work, granted it's still almost new but so far no issues with staining or any difficulty in keeping it clean.

I just want to follow this thread, i ,might change my 2016 convertible with a 2018 convertible orange or lightning blue, and ceramic seems nice. I like to keep my car clean even if it's a car i use daily even in the snow

Does anyone else have a problem with Ceramic Interior? I have been noticing that my jeans wear off on the seat. They are old jeans and should not be doing this, they leave a big blue smear on the seat.
I have this problem with new jeans, and the light silver leather in my Mustang. Until I get past a few washes, I throw a clean towel down on my seat.
