I have PP OEM wheels on my 18 GT. Wanna ceramic coat them if it will make regular cleanings easier. Has anyone done this and what product did you use? What is the process?

I have ceramic coated mine with Gyeon Wheel Sealant. Does a coating help, yes but you still have to wipe to clean.

If you had to do it over again would you do the ceramic coating? Or would you just keep up with regular cleaning?

I did the initial coating before putting the wheels on the car, so wasn't hard at all. With that having been said, I think a good weekly cleaning would have been fine. I changed out brake pads to a low dust pad, so that isn't a big issue. If I had a pad that dust quickly, I would definitely do it again and again.

I ceramic coated (GTechniq CSL) a friends wheels on his Camaro SS 1LE. He loves it, said it makes the wheels much easier to clean and they don't accumulate as much dust and grime. If you're taking the car to a show, a wipe down would be needed. If you just want them to look good cruising, a foam cannon and some water pressure will clean up a coated wheel just fine. The PP wheels are a pain in the ass to clean as it is.

Maybe what I am missing is a decent brush set to get in the wheels real good when washing the car. It’s terrible with the washing mitt I use.
many suggestions on a good set of brushes?

I wrote this last year on cleaning those wheels -

For wheels protection -

Ceramic Coatings -

Wax type products -
https://www.autogeek.net/pbws.html or https://www.autogeek.net/chemical-guys-wheel-guard.html

I also like the spray & rinse type sealants as they have the ability to coat and protect the wheel face and barrel with minimal effort. I apply something like this every few months -
