Yes. Snap fit. They are the same on both the R and Non-R.

There are some red ones with a cobra that aren’t bad if you can live with the silver trim ring

Yes, you would need to remove the wheel. Very easy, take something like the end of a hammer handle or ratchet and lightly tap out from behind, will pop right out.
