If you have an iPhone or Galaxy phone, there is seriously no greater mount than the ROKFORM case and mount.

I change phone cases a lot, so I wanted something universal. Went with the RAM X-Grip.
I have read complaints on line that this mount swivels and moves around when you are driving. Have you noticed that at all ?

I got the Scosche magic mount, but I got the one with the suction cup base ($25 @ BestBuy)and its stuck to the windshield just above center guages (i didn't want to stick anything with adhesive to my dash). as for the strength, its rock solid. It came with 2 magnets. I have a Lumia 640 with a case (kinda heavy phone), and I first attempted putting the magnet (super thin) between the case and phone, which they say you can do, but driving around the phone would shift some. So I stuck the magnet to the outside the case and now that baby ain't going nowhere - even with the way a drive!

I use the Kenu Airframe on the vent closest to the steering wheel in the center console. $30 at Best Buy and works great for vertical and horizontal viewing. I'll get a picture this weekend.

The problem I have with vent mounts is that in the winter all the best is bad for the phone.

It does swivel to slow slight adjustments but I've never had it move on its own. Takes a bit of force.

Are you blasting your heat? It was 20 degrees this morning and I had my heat maxxed out on 3 bars of blower speed and my phone was not overly hot.

Any extra heat at all is bad for electronics and batteries.
