Did the Dealer send these photos to you or did you inspect the car and take them yourself?

If you took them , how is the Panel alignment and Paint finish?

The Panel alignment and Paint finish is a concern to me, re my car which is now in Baltimore.

Please keep us updated re your delivery process and your paint protection.

Dealer took those photos - I'm yet to lay eyes on it. I have been zooming in trying to pick up any damage, although it's hard to see with all the muck, lighting and lowish resolution.

Looks like I didn't get much, if any, bonnet pinch.

I have black OTT stripes, @Yuvraj, (although you can barely see them in these pics). Cars with factory stripes do not get roof/bonnet/boot protection.

I said the exact thing to my wife last night. Start the month of April with a couple of mustang sales. They actually had three stangs in their holding yard that came over on the Faust all still with their protective wrap on. Maybe I need a job as a radio announcer, order your car in April 2015 and get it delivered in Dec 2015, queue jumper extraordinaire.

Well, it didn't turn-out to be an April Fools Day joke - it is perfect! I couldn't fault it. I pointed-out quite a number of little marks and scratches on the paint that they had missed, but they all polished-out just fine.

The long saga finally ends successfully!

Picked up my car this morning.

Happy with the vast majority of the experience, although someone at PDI inexplicably decided to drill holes in my front and rear bumpers (and in strange locations). It's not a biggie, as my Lakin frames will cover the "handiwork". Obviously somebody misunderstood my request - it happens.

Anyways, car is in pretty good shape otherwise apart from a slight boot misalignment which will be dealt with in due course.

Decided to truck it straight from the dealer to the detailer instead of running the gauntlet. Will be in my garage by the end of the week - tinted, OptiCoated, OptiGuarded and with a 3M bra.

21.1km on the clock at delivery.
