Guys, not that I have PP wheels but am interested in good wheel and tire care.
Could you post pic's, before and after using a product, pic would be great to show what you're dealing with and the final outcome.

Thanks

What is the best touch up paint in black for curb rash? Is there a spray?
I had some curb rash that I ended up having to fill and properly paint with primer/color/clear. I tried a few blacks, the universal Duplicolor black is a good match. 99% there. Rustoleum gloss black looked like garbage.

Don't bother getting the Dub Wheel cleaner from Meguiars. It won't do anything to our brake dust. Absolutely worthless on my winter accumulation. I had better luck with my soapy wash water and thorough agitation.

I have found regular application of D156 helps them wash up easier with regular soap.

Adams wheel cleaner makes wheels look like new! I use it on all my vehicles. If wheels are not to bad, like driving a few miles on them, I use Adams rinse less wash or detail spray and just wipe them down, works great.

I took this quick video for fun while washing the mustang the other day. Beginning shows the wheel cleaning results (tons of brake dust removed) by Adam's Wheel Cleaner, and there is a still photo at end of video that shows you the final results all toweled dry.

I need to wash my car like that haha
What's stopping ya? :)

Here's a shopping list:

Foam Gun - Adam's didn't sell one when I got this one, but I think it's cheaper and works great for me.
Adam's Car Wash Shampoo Gallon - $39.99
Adam's Detail Spray Gallon - $44.99
Adam's NEW Wheel Cleaner Gallon - $59.99
Adam's Tire Shine Gallon - $59.99
Adam's Merino Wool Wash Mitt - $34.99
Adam's 32oz Premium Dilution Bottle - $6.99 (get a few)
Adam's Circle Air Freshener (pack of 6) - $9.99 (smells like detail spray, intoxicating).

Then go on auto geek and get towels, brushes, etc...

In my experience with other wheels, and the PP wheels, the key to getting them properly clean is a GOOD PRE RINSE. I have an electric pressure washer with a nozzle specific for washing cars and I use it on the wheels and heavily soiled areas. Spraying the wheels with high pressure seems to help remove dirt and brake dust better.

This also goes for the body of the car. The more crap you remove with a good rinse, the better overall results you can achieve, and the less crap to scratch your ride.
