I have the black ones. I use Pinnacles wheel care kit. But the reason for this post is I discovered something that is just so simple, it's stupid that I didn't think of this long ago. To dry the wheels, just drape your microfiber towel over the dryed wheel brush. And go at it like your washing them.

Or use a leaf blower! Takes seconds

I gotta find a good wheel cleaner for mine, brushing and car wash isn't cutting, literally not cutting, the brake dust and grime. I've got a couple of good specialty brushes but will need a better cleaner for mine. I did mine last night (full wash) and the wheels were still grayish.

I find that car wash doesn't work good on wheels too. I know there are many different brands. I just use the Pinnacle wheel care kit. I buy from them or Autogeek. Depending on special pricing or shipping.

The Adam's wheel cleaner works very well on the PP wheels.

My advice would be to get them clean with a wheel cleaner like mentioned, then get a good coat of wax on them. I spent last weekend polishing them then waxing them, and the brake dust came off super easy when I washed it today.

^^^^^ this. I did that last week. It took four hours. But I took the wheels off of the car and thoroughly cleaned and got a coat of Collinite on the front and back of each wheel.

I removed them also, I was super surprised the inside barrel was clear coated! That's awesome!

The backs of my wheels looked ok. Had some scratches. Sure ain't much room for movement with those Brembo calipers is there.

I ran my car through the car wash then used a microfiber towel to wipe them clean. No issues. I think as long as you keep up with them regularly then the dust has no time to stick per se.

I have a microfiber wheel cleaning "wand" that fits between the spindles nicely. Get them nice and soapy and run that through them and it's 95% clean in just a few minutes, good enough for my basic weekly wash.

This is my go to cleaner, you hardly have to scrub even if it's been a while since you washed the wheels. The new formula also smells pretty tolerable compared to the old one which was ... rough. I've used Adam's cleaner on wheels for the last 3+ years and I've never seen wheels blemish from it. I also use Adam's tire shine, which I really love too. It gives a really good "authentic" shine, especially if you clean the sidewalls real good. Makes tires look like they're brand new rather than fake sprayed on gloss. Also Adam's cleaner doesn't turn your tires orange over time unlike most of the tire sprays at the parts store.

I also tried Sonax, it was pretty good too. Same kind of color changing deal, which is fun to watch. Felt like I had to scrub a little harder with it than Adams, but overall seemed like a quality product. No idea on how it holds up in terms of blemishing wheels, but it has good reviews.
