Carbon Fiber wheel barrels

Has anyone had wheels off ceramic coating done to the front wheels on the exposed white ceramic barrels?

Had the wheels done, but they did not do anything to the white ceramic portion. They weren't sure how to handle it so they left it alone.

The ceramic portion of the wheel is porous and will only absorb the ceramic coating. Have the shop leave that portion alone.
