Well I suppose I got what I deserved, this is the last time I'll ask a question pertaining to visual mods on this site since it won't get answered and I'll just get the "make it functional" nonsense. Do people not appreciate the look of carbon fiber, even in a small amount? It's not like I'm putting fake hood scoops or something on it, I just like the look of genuine carbon fiber and hate the unpainted plastic so I figured it would be a nice way to class-up the car. Seems like people get way too wound up about certain things around here :headbonk:
Make it yours -- whatever 'yours' is. My last car had cf hood, side skirts, rear diffuser and some engine bay treatments. Aside from the functional hood vents, it was all for appearance; an appearance I liked.

I'm anxiously awaiting to see what comes out for these. ;)

Im gonna wrap mine on my GT with PP with 3M carbon fiber film. If it gets curbed, peel it off and replace it. I wrapped my dash and door panels on my Factory Five Daytona Coupe with it. Easy to work with if you have a heat gun, just dont try to wrap it outside when its cold.

Ricers do carbon fiber vinyl overlays. God I hate that shit.

You leave exposed CF to show off that you've got high-end materials on your car, not because the pattern is all that cool looking. I can understand doing it if you've got some genuine stuff on your car.

I agree 100% if you're going to have carbon fiber then have real carbon fiber parts not some dip or vinyl cover. You could have walnut covering or oak like a Country Squire.

Don't let the few vocal nay sayers stop you from asking questions. I love the look of true CF, and am waiting on a replacement side skirt and front splitter and maybe (depending on exhaust tips) rear difuser.

I've seen a bunch of the it's r.i.c.e guys poke at people "if it's not functional it's not worth it", when they rock side window louvers on their stangs. (i detest 05 -14 side window louvers)

Cool, thanks! Looks like I'm definitely waiting till my birthday to get these (next July). It'll give me some time to save up since I'm still kinda hurting from the whole purchasing a new car and winter tire kit thing haha. Definitely something I'll be interested in getting though, it really does look awesome, I wonder how durable it is though...

I think real carbon parts are fine. It is fake carbon parts, fake scoops, window louvers, etc that drive me bonkers.

Yeah, like TnCoupe, I was going to do the same to mine, but I was going to get the Blue Carbon Fiber wrap to match the color of my DIB GT.
Not just ricers apparently.

BINgO!
That's the only visual mod my S550 will see, that is AWSOME!
Luv it!

Wish they would give a better shot of the rear difuser. Also, would like the side skirts to come out maybe a half an inch more than the stock side skirt.

So anyone have any idea when the carbon fiber visual parts will be available for the 2015 Mustang and how much they might cost? I feel that it would be a great understated mod for my Guard Green EcoBoost instead of putting stripes on it. The carbon fiber splitter/skirts/diffuser just looks downright classy and makes the black unpainted plastic look cheap by comparison!
