I like the look, some of those parts are expensive though. I dont mind the Hydro-Carbon stuff either.

I'll bring in the top definition from the well-reputed Urban Dictionary:
A person that simply cannot be happy for another person's success. So rather than be happy they make a point of exposing a flaw in that person.

Hating, the result of being a hater, is not exactly jealousy. The hater doesnt really want to be the person he or she hates, rather the hater wants to knock somelse down a notch.
Based on this definition, I would accept you contrarians as "haters".

The thread title is "Carbon Fiber Addicts Anonymous Thread" so the intent it to bring fans of carbon fiber in, not people that are not fans of it or otherwise detracting from a happy/joke thread by saying what is essentially "carbon fiber dumb, mod other stuff instead". Now if they were asking for your thoughts on their CFed out car in a different thread, that's another story.

I have a carbon fiber Accord keychain for that car. Weight savings in my pocket are out of this world.

Carbon fiber is just another one of those subjective things. I personally like touches of it here and there or weaves done with custom colors can look really awesome, but it can be easily overdone. The only overuse of carbon fiber I enjoy is on the high end exotics where it serves a weight reduction purpose.

So expressing an opinion is outlawed? How 1984 of you.

I expressed my opinion as well as others have. This is a discussion board after all. Things are shared, discussed, and/or ignored.

Move on.

I'd say you should move on because clearly the topic is not for you, not sure why people like to stick around in threads just to be contrarian instead of having a more meaningful discussion somewhere else?

They're not asking why carbon fiber is bad here, they're celebrating the use of it to subjectively improve our cars.
