I'm currently designing and printing a revised strap with a bigger "Window". All new units will have this piece. Screenshots to follow.

Finally got some decent pics of underhood CF projects (outdoors lighting didn't show up as "real").

Note that several of the CF items were fabricated using "Silver Reflections" or "Red Reflections" fabric. That consists of a silver or colored strand woven throughout the carbon fabric. Composite Envisions is the company offering those fabrics. I've purchased fabric from them via eBay and via Amazon.

I fabricated the shock tower covers and the engine cover center section, but overlaid all the other parts.

Actually the radiator cover is a stand-alone part, though I overlaid the original part to fabricate it. My intent is to redo it, as it was a "practice" part that I want to improve on with 2x2 3k black fabric.
