Quick Google and it looks like hydro dipping is not reversible without sanding down. Didn't know that.
I googled and apparently alco-rub is the rubbing agent that takes it right off...

[ame] -> go to 1:25 he yaps for a bit!

Noooo, although it is getting some new additions on Wednesday. And ordered some plastidip for the emblems. Should be interesting. Wonder how well that will work

Haha, i'm very fearful plastidip, ask Enoch about it, he did it on his emblems IIRC.
But that's just me being me and a worrier with putting things on my car !

this only rubs off until you have lacquered it
once the lacquers on it sets hard as rock and you can even polish it shinny

levelled with primer
base coat normally in black especially for carbon dip
then the water carbon film
leave to dry and then normally 1 coat of tinted lacquer and a couple of coats of clear lacquer
then polished up with rotary polisher to look glossy wet
very stunning when done properly

I think you can still do exterior panels ok
once the lacquers on its pretty hard wearing

It was more the hope of it being reversible.

It would probably be cheaper and quicker to buy a replacement set of side skirts if you ever wanted to swap back.

that is why I have decided to go down the Anderson Composites route for the front spoiler, skirts and rear diffuser. However, it is not the least costly of options!

The UK plastidip distributor is only the other side of Alresford!

You should've said; I bought some and have only done the rear emblem.

It's a doddle to use and mine's now been through umpteen jetwashes and is still looking bob-on. :) I was planning to spray it, see if I liked it and then when it started to come off do it properly using the primer, but it's not coming off yet.

I'm gonna go and see these guys today hopefully so will ask some questions.
