So it poured down rain heavily in San Diego about a week ago and I had to drive my car around. Ever since then the exhaust has been relatively quieter and when the car is idling, you can hear a very faint belt noise. I ran the diagnostics check and everything came out fine and I also opened the hood and took a look and nothing seemed to pop out at me. Has anyone else had this problem? I installed my corsa extreme about a month ago so it could just be settling in too...

I know my Magnaflow Street is much quieter when the roads are wet. Think about it, cooling the temps makes it quieter. Water splashing up on the pipes will cool the exhaust quicker making it run quieter.

Go catless and it'll be loud as hell all the time, regardless of the weather. Lol. But in all seriousness, I haven't noticed this on my car. How'd you run your diagnostic btw? Do you work at a local Ford dealer?

Some S550's have a feature through SYNC called Vehicle Health Report.
