I am just curious, if you have Apple Car Play connected, it does not appear to me to be a way to control things in the car like air conditioning temperature, etc. In my old car (an acura), you could tap the voice control button quickly and get the car controls or hold it down to get Siri. Just wondering if there was something I was missing. Thanks!

On the screen there is an icon that sayd Ford. Tap it and it takes you to the sync3 screen.
Yes, I can get back to the sync screen. I was talking about the voice commands, it goes right to Siri which can’t control things like the climate control etc.

Plus, things like the basic AC function, fan speed, temp, are available as hard buttons in the center stack, and also climate related controls like seat cooling/heating. About the only time I have to back into the Sync 3 UI is for the steering wheel heater, you know, the 3-4 times a year I use it :D

If you're in CarPlay, Siri is the only voice system available, and it cannot be used to control any of the car features.

If you're in Sync3, holding the voice button down for ~2 seconds brings up Siri. Just a touch on the button gets you the Sync3 commands.

Ok this is what I thought. Thanks for confirming.
