I don't get it..

Car and Driver did a comparison test with the GT 350, Supra, BMW M2 Comp and Cayman. The GT350 won.

But in the 10 best issue the Supra and Cayman are selected as 10 best cars but no GT350. How can that be?

Car and driver’s criteria are that only new or substantially improved models, or previous winners are invited to compete. The GT350 didn’t make the list last year...losing out to some Audi.

It’s called you better keep the manufacturers happy or you won’t be invited to test the next car. CD blows chunks on this most times. If they used a year older model and it’s better than a new one from another manufacturer, they won’t be given cars to test. BMW are really dicks about this. Go watch Doug Demuro and his video of why he has not been given a C8 to test. Yes I know he gets a bit whiny and irritating at times.

On Page 45 of the 10 best Jan 2020 issue it list the eligible competitors and the Mustang Bullet/GT/PP2/GT350 is listed.
So I'm back to I don't get it...

90% of there readers will buy the SUV - KIA or Mazda - catering to the masses..

Buy yeah i saw that comparison and it was pretty cool that GT350 beat out the Bimmer and Porsche and Toyota.

What if you have a car and not enjoy driving it. But Car&Driver listed it as the best car of the year. Is that make you happy? Or you enjoy driving the car a lot, it makes you smile every time you push the throttle and shifting. But this loving car didn't make in 10 best cars of the year. Is this make you liking your car less?

^^^ I think you missed my point, or I wasn't clear.
GT350 beats the Supra so its better in C&D's evaluation. Yet the second place, Supra makes the 10 best list and first place car (GT350) does not. I don't get C&D's 10 best analysis. And the GT350 was eligible in the 2019 10 best evaluation we covered that above. I can't wait to read the C&D readers letters to the Ed in the next issue.

Agree. Maybe because different people for the article and best car reviewers.
