This has happened a few times now. When I get out of my car after turning it off the car alarm goes off. Since the key is in my pocket I usually just hit the START button in the car to make it stop then just hit the button again since taking the key out would take a few seconds more. Does anyone else have this problem? The only thing I could think would be that as I'm getting out that the key rubs against the seat and the alarm button is hit but that doesn't seem right.

I've had it happen but it was because the large non-recessed panic button kept hitting my pocket knife in my jeans pocket when I'd get out of the car and take climb up a step. Try keeping your Fob in your jacket pocket or somewhere other than your jeans pocket (like your hand) when you get out and see if it still goes off.

thanks for the reply, it must be my wallet hitting it as I get out. I'll try putting the FOB somewhere else
