Square just allows you to rotate tires prolonging tread life.

Square also helps with cost effectivness for tires as well besides prolonging the tire life. A wider tire is priced less then a slimmer tire of course.

At the end of the day it ultimately is your decision

Exactly, every other mod was an easy decision even before I got the car. There's a lot of nice aftermarket wheels out there to choose from.
