Recently had my 2018 GT PP1 in for an alignment at a reputable shop in town. Had the alignment done because I recently put in steeda linear drag springs.

I had the specs directly from ford and provided them to the shop. Looked it over with em at the end and was pretty happy with it.

The alignment as it sat when I brought it in was all within specs except for the front toe which was decently out, positive I believe - pushing the front of the tires outwards.

that was corrected.

How does the rear toe look to you guys? I thought it was within specs except but some guys are saying otherwise.

alignment photos and ford specs sheet below.

appreciate any advice

It's fine except I personally would prefer even amount of toe in the rear - it's really easy to do even on stock toe links (as opposed to camber which is kinda pain in the ass). Thrust angle would be zero.

(it's fine assuming it's a street driven car and you don't have any performance oriented goals for it)

Bumping for any advice
Hey Airborne,

While not too bad, I would stress that you want even Numbers on both side.
A bit more aggresive than needed for street on the front camber. Here are the specs we hit in our shop.

Street
Front camber -1.03 degrees on both sides (Performance and Handling Pack)
Caster +7.0 degrees on both sides
Front toe +0.01 degrees per side total toe of +0.02 degrees, this is toe in
Rear camber -1.5 degrees on both sides
Rear toe +0.115 degrees per side, total toe of +0.23 degrees, this is toe in

DRAG
This is drag race only.
Front camber -0.75 degrees, must be even on both sides.
Caster +7.0 (+/- .25 degrees), must be even on both sides.
Front toe +0.01 per side, total toe +0.02. This toe in.
Rear camber -0.5 degrees (+/- .25 degrees), must be even on both sides.
Rear toe +0.12 degree, must be even on both sides. This toe in.

Thank you for the information! To confirm this is your suggested alignment for the 2018 GT PP1 with your steeda linear drag spirngs installed?

Can you explain a little why the specs your posted differ from ford spec? I am super interested and want to learn.

The front we have the same spec as what Ford Recomends :

The Big thing that we see is that when you go to a regular alignment shop, all they do is scan the VIN and go with the range.

As long as it's in range, it's green, which is a problem because you can have one wheel on -1.8 and the other on -.3, and it will display green. Then they will send you on your way and you'll burn up tires. It is imperative that both sides try to match as much as possible. Our max deviation is .1 +/-.

Its not hard too do, but most places unless specifically requested, won't go that deep into detail.

For drag racing camber, this is a starting point.
Reason you want it to be that close to zero, is to minimize tire drag and have as flat of a trajectory as possible.

Hope I answered correctly.
Hate when I think I hit reply and it didn't.
