I did the 18+ digital dash swap in my car using the kit from infotainment. I only have one issue, every time I start the car it tells me my front camera isn’t working. Obviously I don’t have one so I would like that error message to go away. Is that something that could be handled with forscan?

Verify other settings in your car, just change to code that says FC Not Available, leaves other setting the same.

Cool, I guess I’ll order the cable and get the software downloaded then. Will there be any issues with the tune on my car? I’ve never used forscan before so not entirely sure what to expect.

Please do some more research. I just realized you have a 2015 and this ForScan chart is for newer years. Please do some reading and understanding on how to do changes in ForScan. Its not difficult, but mistakes can be costly.

Contact your tuner and see if they have a ready fix that may not cost you anything.

Have you contacted Infotainment? I'm pretty sure you aren't the first to have this issue.

I have not, I figured if it was relatively easy to fix with forscan that would be better than potentially having to ship the cluster back for them to fix. I guess it couldn’t hurt to call and check though.

I will do some more research as well. I have a week before the adapter shows up.

You may not need to ship it back. They may tell you exactly how to fix it. It's worth a phone call IMO.

If you have an aftermarket tune it might lock you out. It did for me, it asked for a code before scanning my car completely. I got one off the forums here and it worked. I just added a boost gauge in the digital dash on my car. I'm a nooby at Forscan but it was really easy once I was in.

I called infotainment to see if they could help me. They have a tablet rental service, ship me a tablet then a tech remotely controls it to fix the issue. It would cost me $130 though and since I have already ordered the forscan plug I may as well try that first. I imagine if I had brought this to their attention right away they may have hooked me up but that’s on me. If I find the forscan too intimidating I’ll just go the tablet route.

Well I have forscan up and working, went poking around without changing anything. Unfortunately I don’t know which code to change. I spent about 2 hours scrolling the internet and got nothing. I guess I’ll be renting a tablet. 🙄

What you need to do is flash your original as built info into the new cluster. Then you would have to add anything that does not work. Usually it is the high beam indicator that doesn't work. If you go to the digital swap guide thread on this forum it tells you how to turn things on. It's hard to screw things up just save your current config, and reflash that if you mess it up, then get the rented tablet.
