Can dealership update ECU without changing strategy

This is great info, thanks for the TSB. I had the heatshield recall done, I'll have to check if this was done to my car. I have no smoke yet.

Is the heat shield still holding up? I'm leery of hitting up the dealer. Greenway does not know what they're doing and I'm getting up there in mods.
