Can anyone identify this autograph?

I’m purchasing a GT350 and it has someone’s autograph on the strut brace. Does anyone know who this is?

The signature looks like James to me. My first thought was maybe he was your engine builder. It looks like the name on the builder plate starts with a J, but it’s hard to zoom in and tell while driving. Jason maybe?

I agree that the build plate says Jason something but I don’t think the signature on the strut brace is the same.
there is also a signature from Peter Miles on the fuse box cover.

this is brilliant in a way... i think i'm going to have me and my freinds sign my car if/when i ever sell the thing.... with the mystery of who it could be, our signatures could end up on some auction block 50 years from now and everyone would think it HAD to be someone important otherwise why would they sign it??? lol

It has to be a creative type person like a Chip Foose or someone in the design field. The signature is too stylized to be anything else.

That's a good observation, I agree with you. I'm thinking it was signed at the same time Peter Miles signed it. Probably some kind of Ford event in 2021.

It’s Charmel. She’s a local drag queen at a bar near the Flat Rock shop. Must’ve been used for a photo op promo. Enjoy your car!

I believe it is autographed by Camilo Pardo the lead designer of the 2005 Ford GT. Like all of our signatures it is slightly different each time but clearly fits his unique style.

thank you so much! I think you’re right as the cars also signed by Pete miles. The two signatures together definitely make sense. Either way, that’s the story I’m going with. the drag Queen story is also very nice. Would be a fun conversation with my 5 year old when he notices the signature haha

i just searched Camilo Pardo signature and found this screen print. Signature is nearly identical and has the year he signed it as well.

You’re 100% correct (god do I love the internet.)

A friend of mine is a GT collector is SD and purchased one of Camillo’s cars from him. I just sent the pic to him and he confirmed it’s definitely Camillos signature. Apparently he signs a TON of fords at every event he goes to.

That’s really cool. Might want to look into some kind of high heat clear to put over that signature so it doesn’t fade over time. Especially if you like to wash your engine bay.
