CAI + Tune Combo: best option?

Hello all,

after putting 15,000 miles on my 15 PP GT and doing nothing to it but cosmetic mods and just enjoying the hell out of it, I think I've finally reached the itch of getting into the performance mods. I am looking to purchase a CAI and a tuner.... what is my best option? im considering 3 factors:

-price
-performance
-reliability

can any of you guys help me out with making a decision? I know there are tons of posts on this so don't get pissed at me for posting here :headbonk: I just want to get an idea from someone who is already running there setup and hear their experiences with it before I drop a rack on something. I really like the look of the roush (I like the red) but I want to get some suggestions here first.

There are several good set ups, but for me, I originally bought the Steeda CAI and tune. Loved it, no problems with anything, ever. I now have the Lund tune for the addition of the intake manifold, no issues at all with that, either. You really can't go wrong with any of them, the vendors on here offer quality stuff.

If I was shopping for parts today. I'd get a PMAS intake and let Lund work his magic with an E85 tune.

me personally ive researched alot.. im going pmas, and lund flex tune. flex tune seems the best bang for the buck , and you can run fuels from 87 to e85.. i wouldnt run 87 in these cars myself but ..
seems to be the most gains out of most of the tunes .. from what ive seen .
but thats me .. just my 2 cents

Does James do house calls? I don't know of any good Ford tuners in the Tampa FL area.

My first mod was a steeda cai and tune. It was a slight difference. The butt dyno says I gained more from headers.
