From what I have read so far, there is no power difference between the 2. But at the same time, Lund has given me a baseline tune and told me we are going to re-datalog the whole thing (I bought the no tune version). I would think that a completely datalogged tune would provide a little bit more power than a no tune required version, but I'm not a tuner.... I don't know...

would think there would have to be some physical difference for one to not require a tune.. be anxious to see some testing

These are quotes, so don't hold me accountable.... ;)

"The no-tune variant is a calibrated maf, not a smaller sample tube. Gains will be the same."

"So it's for looks?"

"No, the gains between the tune required and no tune required will be the same. The only thing that changes is in the tune required you change the maf curve in the tune."

Mine is going in on Monday for Ford to do warranty repair for corrosion on the front right lip of the hood. It seems that it's a fairly common issue and Ford had no problem issuing the repair approval.

Thanks! That's good to know as the corrosion came on very fast.... I try to really take care of this car too....

So I got the cai installed and everything is put together nice. I was going to do an install video but I got lazy and went swimming with my kids..... I'll post some pics and a butt dyno review as soon as Lund updates my tune. I have the base tune, but need to log a little bit....before I'm allowed to go wot
