Cold Air Intake / Intake Box for 2015-2017 Mustang GT with 2018+ Intake Manifold.

I have a 2015 mustang gt with a ported 2018 intake manifold and was looking to get a cai for even more power.
What cold air intakes should I be looking for that would fit in my car. The 2018+ intake manifold swap angles the throttle body up and I have heard people having problems with cai and them rubbing on the hood.

I know this question has been answered on the forum but couldn't find it.
Should I be looking for 2015 CAI, 2018+ CAI, or does it depend on the brand and model?

Also, I have heard JLT and PMAS are my best bets, I don't want to start another cai forum war, but If you have another suggestion and want to briefly explain why, especially with it relating to fitment and power with the 2018+ intake manifold. Please don't start a cai war lmao.
I also think the JLT intake for 2018+ is bigger than the 2015+, which would be better? (120mm vs 110mm I think)

I have a PMAS (no tune required version) and I like it a lot, although it’s been said that a factory air box is best because it allows for cooler air intake. Many say throw a high flow air filter in and roll out.

What year pmas did you get? (15-17 or 18+)

I've done lots of reading and the consensus seems to be that the stock intake for 15-17 is decent but once you go fbo you want something else. The 18+ intake has been pretty well-praised tho.

What didn't you like about it? I've heard some people say it is ugly, but was there another reason?

Edit: Also is the intake tube for 2015-2017?

I have a 2019 Bullitt which shares the GT350 intake manifold and I’m FBO. Look closely and you’ll see that I kept factory snorkel intact, to help route more fresh air into the filter.

Not sure what you are trying to say, but nice intake lmao!

I like the nitrous too, although my happy ass would use it so much daily driving it would cost 10x what boost would in a month.

intake tube was for 15-17 and works fine. i reused my stock TB. i personally did not like way it drove with the pmas. car felt too twitchy with the pmas for my liking.

Here’s the factory air intake snorkel. I took it off of my air box and used it to feed air directly into the filter.

I hear you on the nitrous. It’s nice to have, but it can also be very addictive like you said.

Mine was never twitchy, but I did have a hanging idle for a while until the ECM recognized and compensated for it. It took a couple of hundred miles and a lot of stopping and idling to help with the learning process.

I also recently added a Soler Performance ported throttle body and their throttle controller too (makes the throttle more responsive). Very nice port work on the TB and it complements the PMAS quite nicely.

Ah for some reason I didn't read the second part of your post.
How did you get it to sit? I thought with the factory piece its just connected to the airbox and just hangs there.

Nice, I responded to a forum post from solar saying they could send me a unit to test out on a tuned mustang gt for their development on the mustang gt ones.

Haven't been sent one yet but I hope they make a good improvement over the factory.

It actually snaps and locks into place and doesn’t move.
