Not sure if this is the right subforum, but wondering if anyone knows what these clips are called on the vacuum lines for the air intake. A part number would be huge as well. I couldn't find anything on fordparts, but maybe I'm searching for the wrong thing. I installed an Airaid CAI, but one of the fittings are loose. When trying to take the hoses off, they don't release like on the factory intake. Hoping someone can point me in the right direction to have some replacements on hand before I break one to remove it. Thanks for any help you can give.

I had read of someone else doing that for theirs a couple of years ago. I'm hoping it won't come down to that. Jeff with FordService took some time to try to find the part number for me, but no one could find it. I did find some clips that look like they might work. For just $4, it's worth a shot. http://www.autozone.com/fuel-delivery/fuel-line-clip/dorman-fuel-line-clip/604824_0_0/
According to the site vehicle selector it won't fit. But I'm going to head down tomorrow to see if I can find some to try it.

Unfortunately, no. The ones from AutoZone are too small. I'm still looking to see if there is anything similar, but I haven't found anything yet.

zip tie it. that is what i have done to mine. still works well. Or buy those small circular clamps like you have on the throttle body.

Pep Boys. Ford Fuel Line Retaining Clips. Buy the bag, you'll get 3 of 'em (use the black, 5/16" ones - they're an exact replacement). Trust me on this. I have a couple of bags in my tool kit. Ford tried to tell me I had to buy a $900 intake. BTW, these connectors are NOT snug connectors - you think they're loose, but they're not.

They aren't too small - that link is an exact replacement. The trick is to take the connector completely off the nipple, insert the clip making sure it passes through the connector and clips over both nibs on the bottom. This is a "push-to-release" connector - I learned it the hard way. If you just try to slide the clip in the slot while the connector is over the nipple, it's a no go. Once the clip is properly in the connector, press it and slide it over the nipple - it locks right in.

The BLACK 5/16" clips in the bag are the proper ones.
