What am I looking at for numbers? Airaid CAI (Oiled Filter), AWE Touring Catback system and an nGauge Lund Tune? 2017 Base GT...waffling on saying adios to the warranty

400ish whp + or - a few
I'd bet heavy on the + side. With FF it feels like 50whp/30fpt. Not sure about the Airaid as i felt a considerable difference going from stock box (closed) tune to the PMAS tune. Just do it...you WILL NOT be disappointed.

All i can go by is my setup. Closed box just felt restrictive to me. You have E85 near you?

You are not necessarily saying goodbye to the warranty. See the following:

"Still, if it turns out that the aftermarket or recycled part was itself defective or wasn't installed correctly, and it causes damage to another part that is covered under the warranty, the manufacturer or dealer has the right to deny coverage for that part and charge you for any repairs. The FTC says the manufacturer or dealer must show that the aftermarket or recycled part caused the need for repairs before denying warranty coverage."

The dealer must give a reason for denying the warranty claim. They can't just say that the tune did it without a reason. For example, Ford has a performance tune and cai which they warranty. But they can't say to an aftermarket vendor "you can't do that only us". People are mistaken when they say the mod voids the warranty. It's relative. If one dealer gives you a hard time, ask them how the mod voids the warranty. If they say "it's not stock, so the warranty is void" they are WRONG.

Not that I know of in Connecticut
I found one station near me in a 100 mile radius. Don't know what the holdup is around here. If you do decide - then go with the FF tune. That way you can experience the E85 when the time comes.

What do you think if I remove the cover on the Airaid on non-rainy days?
No idea, you would have to try both to see if there is a difference. I don't drive in rain or snow, although i did get caught in a downpour once. Checked the filter when i got home and it was bone dry.

Wondering the big HP number difference on the oiled vs. dry filter in the Airaid kit? Dry showing higher numbers?
