I'd be surprised if it did at this point the development cycle.
We're still months away from them going live. If enough complaints about the look come in, they could modify it.

Or someone is going to make a lot of $$$ aftermarket selling non ugly ones.

I hope Ford does not use the Horn to alert, when exiting the car while running. I stop daily at our mailbox (Community type) and leave my engine running as I get the mail out of the box, my Honda alerts me with a beeping sound that is embarrassing enough, If it were a Horn beeping, then those who live close by the box would look and be pissed. Sometimes I do this after midnight...

I don't understand the big deal about the horn blowing or a car beeping when you leave it running and take the key fob out. How on earth is it embarrassing?? It isn't like your car stalled in the middle of an intersection and you're having to push it. If someone stares at you because they have no clue, sounds to me like they aren't up to date on new technology. But... That's just my opinion

Yes, but they would have to test the cooling systems with a change in the shape, as well as go through all of the design and engineering changes in a short cycle. No doubts they are trying to lock down changes by this point.

Go sit in front of a neighborhood and tap your horn a couple of times...Then do it every day or night...You will find out what your Neighbor's think of you and your honking or at least they will talk to other neighbors about your annoying honks.

As for technology, the Horn is not designed to remind you + everyone in earshot that your engine is running...it's universally understood that it's to get other peoples attention...A simple beeping sound is designed to get your attention...KEYFOB/MTR RUNNING HORN ALERT=FAIL! And this is my opinion, and other auto manufactures as well.

Two thing's, I agree 100% that the Horn blowing to remind you that you left the car running with the Fob in your posession is just ridiculous. I know several people with Keyless Ignition on other Makes, and when they get out of the car to run in the store, or back in the house for something it gives a long Beep from Inside the Car, Not the Horn. Secondly I don't understand all the Hate over the Coolant Overflow Tank. It doesn't bother me at all. I'm sure the Aftermarket will offer several different options for those of you whom it offends though.

I'm sure there are more important things to worry about than the damn coolant container.
