I guess they are saving the best for last ... like a movie.
These first rides are coming in like a mini series. The last one, Ford finally pops up the hood ... revealing a TDI hybrid 1.0L engine :D.
And hopefully a better looking design under the hood. The current wired mess is absolutely horrible with that coolant container.

As an owner of an '04 Mach 1, then 2 Coyotes (2011 and 2013), I can tell you that my Coyotes "felt" slower than the Mach 1 did with 100+ hp more. And the 4.6 modular in the Mach 1 didn't have the low end pull like the old 5.0's did. I personally think it's chassis tuning and the very fact that they don't feel it is actually a good thing.

Flat cornering, as mentioned in this review, is also stellar. They never got out of 2nd gear AND it was high temp/humidity. I really think people are going to be blown away by the EB4. I bet that it will beat the snot out of unmodified and even lightly modded 4.6's from New Edge to 2010.
I somewhat agree. My coyote doesnt feel like its yanking you back in the seat like my old ls3 camaro (2010) did. The camaro had better low end no doubt but once you hit 4.5k it felt like an old tired dog compared to my 2013 gt. The camaro feels like a heavier old school muscle car while the s197 coyote feels like a cross between that old school and sports car.

Yup, and it appears that the 2015 is kind of losing the old school muscle car aspects and moving towards a true "sports car".

Its moving towards a sports coupe with a more balanced chassis for sure. I prefer the muscle car feel, I really like the 392 Challenger but not willing to pay that kind of money for a dodge product.

Yep it's going more "European" for sure. It kinda looks like a combo of a Mustang and BMW/Aston Martin.

Well I'll be coming from a modular 4.6, so I'm certainly hoping this car matches or exceeds it, otherwise I will probably pass on the Ecoboost.

I hope it's low 5's if possible high 4's.

I mean the 220 HP 2.0 T Audi A3 Quattro does 0-60 in just 5.8 seconds.

We better be well below that for almost 100 more HP and being a sports car.
4.9 second 0-60 on the "240hp" BMW 228I

The 8 speed ZF is much better than the 6 speed Ford has. My hope is they offer the 8 speed in the Ford at some point, then the auto will be amazing. Still shocked by that C&D number! Edmunds did 5.1

I hope ecoboost can match that range! The transmission in the auto (ZF 6 speed) is a bit old. It will probably shine more in the 1/4 mile time than the 0-60. The same 228i only does 13.7 1/4 mile, I'd think the EB will do better on that but maybe not beat the 0-60.

I'd be more concerned with turbo lag, the 1.6L fusion we have is really laggy, I can only imagine it being worse with more boost, feel free to correct. Throttle response is not very good.
