So now you're not in the club if your GT is an auto? This forum never ceases to amaze me.
Oh I thought he had an EB. This forum never ceases to amaze me of the overly sensitive types. You should of figured me posting an exhaust video has nothing to do with transmission type.............

I always think...why would someone trade a 1yr old car. That's such a bad financial move.

Of course this doesn't apply when going from an Ecoboost to GT! :headbang: Congrats man!

not when it was 0% it wasn't. plenty of people traded up. some to manual gt or to auto gt. some from base gt pp to premium gt pp and took little to no hit.

Not even a little bit.
To each their own. I think the transmission type can absolutely change the experience, but it depends on the person whether the best experience is an AT or a MT. I don't think there's a need for my opinions to be used against other people's experiences (not that that's what either of you were doing).

In the end, we've all got ponies, and that's all that matters.

Traded my 2015 Ecoboost in for a 2016 GT. Had my fun with the Ecoboost but it wasn't exactly what I wanted even after full mods. Time for a new project :)
Hey man congratulations on your new GT. I am looking to trade up for a GT in a few months as well. Just a couple questions:

1) Did you lose $$$ on the trade in? If so, how did you work that with the dealer?
2) If financed, did you do it through a bank or are is Ford financing you?

Just curious since I currently have a 2015 V6 and am looking to trade for the GT but I have some negative equity.

He is getting 0% financing via Ford.

Also trading up with negative equity is retarded and not a very good sign for future prosperity

I am aware of that. I don't plan to trade up with negative equity since I will have the negative almost all paid off by the time I decide to start looking for the trade in.
