Thanks...I was pretty close to buying a used S5 but got scared off by potential reliability issues. So pumped with the decision to buy the Mustang...still can't believe the incredible value for what you get, especially vs the German sport coupes...game on!!

My thoughts exactly plus with such a good following on the mustang, if you ever decided to do any mods like the lights... or whatever they will be much easier to find... maintenance is cheaper and finding a place close by for any warranty related maintenance, there is a wider variety of dealers to go to and closer...coming close to 40k with all the options I got, for a similarly equipped Audi TTS would be over 54k Though I would be missing out on AWD and magneride or bose/bang & olufsen... sadly though, the base 2016 TT looks to have an estimated msrp of 50k ... a TTS... should be interesting... 5 more days to go and my car will hopefully be here

Bye Bye BMW for me mid February. Fifth one leased, the first one that sucks sufficiently from a driver's perspective that I refer to it as the CAMRY.

Nice. Congrats on the purchase. I don't think you'll regret it.

I'm coming from a Lexus IS350, and so far my only regret is that with how much fun this car is, maybe I should have waited until the GT350. :p

... Seriously, though, it's going to be hard to keep myself from trading up when that's out if it's anywhere near 40K, like I expect it to be.

Thanks...how did you like the IS350? I have always thought that car is a great balance between practicality and sportiness...plus bulletproof reliability!

I completely agree with your assessment, heh. I had a 2007 IS350 for eight years before I got the Mustang, and I loved the car.

I drove it for 90 thousand HARD miles. Floored it at every opportunity, tossed it around corners, modified it, tracked it twice, carelessly hit a couple curbs and potholes. Every single thing from the drivetrain to every electronic doodad worked as flawlessly as it did the day I drove it off the dealer lot with 8 miles on the odo. Plus, it was a lot more fun than people give it credit for (although I guess the modified exhaust and suspension helped with that, but I hear the new ones are even more fun). And the dealerships treat you like royalty.

... I sound like a guy unconsciously longing for his ex after what he swears was a mutual split, haha. I love Samus (my GT :p), too. But we haven't yet had enough time together to build that kind of relationship.
