Buying Headers in CA?

I bought long tubes for my 15 a few years ago no problem. Fast forward to today, I'm looking to buy another set for my new car and come to find out that all of my favorite vendors do not ship non-carb legal things to California anymore. I remember websites used to disclaim that the products were not road legal and were intended for off-road use only. What changed? Does anyone know of a vendor that still does or a way around this short of shipping it to a friend out of state? Thanks.

American Muscle will ship headers to CA. When you get to the submit order screen, you have to select the 'for off road use only' box.
