Hello all,

I have been lurking these forums for the last 8-10 months in preparation for purchasing a gt350. Given that I live in New York I am looking out of state for a vehicle without a crazy high ADM. What I am looking for is avalanche grey with the electronics package and a build date after September 2016 to avoid the recall and I have found quite a few but very far away from me. My question to you all is what I should be looking for especially since I will be buying the car based solely on pictures. I know the front splitter will probably be installed incorrectly and that I should look at the rear exhaust and muffler area. Any other tips and locations of pictures I should request? Thanks for the help!

Bought mine sight unseen from a reputable dealer in Las Vegas. Not a single issue , driving back to Oregon and keeping my foot out of it was
almost unbearable .:ford::ford::ford::ford::ford:

I am also in NY and I can save you some time hopefully. The best I found was about 4-5k ADM on a brand new 2017 (you choose the color, spec from the factory, but then wait months for it to be built and shipped) and about 3-4k ADM on an existing 2017 car on the lot. You can get any remaining 2016's they have at no ADM (last check was about 6 weeks ago and they had 2 left). This is based on the All American Ford dealers in Jersey, there are a few but all share inventory so it comes down to which sales person you can get (if you want I can put you in touch with the guy I used). Cant recommend the dealer enough but I will say that you need to know your stuff and be prepared to negotiate some to get the prices I just mentioned.

I also bought mine from a small dealer IL. The sales dude was awesome, did whatever I asked him to, videos, pics etc.. I got my car last February when ADM's where all crazy so my only choice was to get one out of state and shipped to CA. I used Inter-City, enclosed trailer, I paid a little bit more for it but it was worth it not having to be worried how it was loaded since it comes out on elevator. :) I would say like most on here did just make sure you are asking all the right questions, pics, videos, whatever makes you feel comfortable. Good luck!

I just bought one three weeks ago sight unseen from a dealer in St. louis. As soon as I sold my 03' Cobra track car, I started to very aggressively look for what I wanted. I too had a very tough time finding one locally without a huge mark up. The dealer wanted 10k over msrp and I negotiated that down to 1k over. I did the deal over the phone and through FedEx. I had the dealer send me photos of the car with areas that I wanted to look at. I just dealt with the sales manager and finance manager. Quick and easy transaction. My Cobra was picked up on a Thursday and I flew up to pick it up on the next day. I inspected the car and drove it. Told them to remove the plastic, gave them a nice check for a down pavement and drove it home.
