For me I can’t describe the smell but it happened when I tried to use launch control. I thought I put it in first but I think I put it In third. The take off was slow like I was doing a rolling burn out but there was no rubber smell. Everything is running fine as far as I can tell. I think it might be my clutch, brakes or my catalytic converter. I asked my buddy and he said it smells like when a semi has to break really hard. Seeing if anyone has a clue on what it is.

most likely the clutch since you were trying to launch and probably dumped it too aggressively.

Why would you be trying to do a burnout/clutch dump from 3rd gear?

Not a flame, just curious as to your intent and expected results... ?

Clutch is exactly what you smell. Try doing a couple of quick clutch dumps in first gear and then let the clutch cool down. Hopefully that will repair the clutch surface if there was any damage done.

Thank you I’ll give that a try
