Bumper repair

Some jerkass backed into my car and of course just left without leaving their information. The same exact thing happened to my last car but I never bothered getting it fixed. Obviously this is not acceptable for the stang though. The damage is only cosmetic fortunately but it looks like a large part of the bumper will have to be sanded and painted due to the imprint of their license plate frame. What would you guys guess I'm looking at cost wise to get this fixed? Thanks.

Had the front bumper on my '08 removed, repainted and reinstalled about 4 years ago for $300.00
Figure closer to $400.00 now.
Dr Color Chip may be a cheaper option for you.
Have never used this product so can't comment on the results.
What do the paint/ refinishing guys think a repaint will cost?

That's not as bad as I thought. I don't think the dr colorchip will do it though. The license plate frame left imprints in the paint that are hard to see in the photo but would bother me if not fixed.

had to replace the front facia on my DIB for the same reason, it cost me 1191 but I have silver OTT stripes that cost 171.00 so at a gues a cook 1k

That's super cheap but I assume the bumper would have to be painted. I'll ask the dealer when I take the car in tomorrow.

You can find pull off bumpers on the Bay for under 400? I know it is still alot but if they quote more then that, then you have that option.

Edit: went and looked and found a white pull off bumpers no grill or anything for 259. So keep it in mind

My new bumper skin and paint was a tad over $1,000 paint and all, covered under warranty. That was the rear bumper though, It's not cheap and white Is a hard color to match. :<

Mine was $500 total for the front, painted (Magnetic) and installed through the dealer. Paint looks great.

i order a new take off to be sure it the same paint. it cost a lot because shipping but if you are in usa its like 300 + 140 shipping. include grilles, bumper, chin spoiler. only thing you got to take from your bumper is fog light brakets and the bumper isolator / absorber.

it came very well packed.

That isn't bad, considering the chin spoiler is like $240 by itself.
