i just recieved the "FP" (M-18000-F) track struts and shock kit,i plan on pairing these with the STEEDA LINEAR MINIMUM DROP SPRING KIT(F/R)...the STRUTS/SHOCKS came with the jounce bumpers already installed(they were made to match the "track springs"),which are one inch lower than stock(my car is a base 21 gt, 19x9.5/10 in wheels,255/275 ps4s tires)do i install with the jounce bumpers that came installed on the kit...or do i need to cut them down?the jounce bumpers on the struts are "FRC-3K100-AA".

I would leave them on. If the struts ever bottom out they'll provide a little extra cushion.

The general suggestion is to cut them down. But no worries, they are easily accessible and can be trimmed on car.

If you feel bump-stop contact regularly you might opt to just trim the smaller notch of the factory stops off.

i'll assume that if i was installing the complete "ford performance track suspension kit",which requires these jounce bumpers, then there would be no need to trim since the springs supplied in that kit lowers an advertised "1 inch",i'm installing steeda's "minimum drop springs",which are advertised to lower the car by 1/2 inch all around...just not understanding why they would require trimming if i'm lowering less that the "M-FR3A-M8A KIT"???

You don’t have to do anything. I’d just install and drive them and assess from there.

If, and only if, you notice bump stop contact you can easily trim things up.

I noticed contact with Steeda’s progressives which are like 1-1.2in drop. Everyone’s car is different and even springs have variability so you might not make any contact at all or you might get a small amount even with milder springs.

WAIT

LOL, I had to reread everything.

If your FP stops are premounted and shortened just leave it and send it. Don’t overthink it.

the reason i'm unsure about the jounce bumpers is after speaking with steeda when i ordered the springs, the
sales rep(tech guy) said their instructions said to "trim the jounce bumpers",but i'm wondering if he's taking into account that the kit(M-18000-F)comes with the jounce bumpers already in place when they come from "CJ PONY PARTS"integral with the kit...hopefully #STEEDA will chime in with the correct info.
