Such a let down. Ordered on 4/23/15. Is that even possible?

It took me 2 months to get a VIN, so yes it is possible lol. Also, your dealer might not have any allocations left until then?

Dealer won't give me the DORA, tell me if they have allocations (doesn't know), and I was only told the build week by Jeff here under FordService. It's all coming down crumbling. I had a deal with another dealer I cancelled to go with them. They beat the other price, and when I came back next week because I still didn't have some kind of confirmation the price went up. :brokenheart:

Ordered mine on May 20 and had VIN the next day. Just found out yesterday from ford rep on this site that my build week is 7/20. Don't see how that is even possible since I got a vin so fast and dealer has been getting orders in within 6-8 weeks.

I wouldn't even bother. You're better off ordering 2016 at that point

There is a planned 2 week shutdown next month at the plant, Bradrulz. This will affect production weeks.

Yeah, same here. But look on the bright side, After the shut down, maybe you will end up with Sync 3 (just me dreamin). And also know that you have one of the last 2015s built. :)

We better get some discounts. Waiting sux. I wasn’t too concerned about it as I didn’t have much for other options. Then, stupidly I found a car that is close to my car on a lot about 150 miles away. It’s about $1000 more, doesn’t have the primer trim and has a couple other options I don’t want (nav and reverse). I’m tempted to go buy it but for a car that I plan to own for a long time I want what I want.

I am ending up getting a GT Premium, Auto, NAV, backup sensors, tint, 3M clear door edge protector with them doing a dealer swap. Should be getting it tomorrow or Monday. They found this one the other day, but I really don't need the NAV or backup assist. Told them no yesterday and got a call today asking if they came up another $500 on my Camaro trade in if they would have a deal. I countered at $1000 more and ended up agreeing on $750 more for the trade in. So I am going for it. Cheap price to pay to not have the delivery unknown frustrations or frustrations trying to trade the Camaro in 2-3 months from now.

My sales, day tells me that 8/03 is the beginning of the 2016 build date. If I was you I would wait to order the new year. Just a thought.

Would if I could, but closer it is to the new Camaro launch the less my Camaro trade will be. They already have a ton of 2015 Camaros at every Chevy dealer I pass and also see they are giving $3000-$4000 discounts to move them.
