Build Week 6/1

Welp, I am pretty excited. Was originally told via FordService PM that my build date was 6/8. Today, I got a PM saying my order was sent to production today, and my window sticker should be made available Wednesday (see button on COTUS)! Woohoo!

VIN: 5/21
Production: 6/1
Blend: ?
EDD: 7/1

Really hope everything stays on schedule.

Mine just changed to awaiting shipment so it means it was built yesterday (6/1). I had a blend date of 6/1 with a sequence number of 1784. Anyone have a sequence number next to that? Still holding with an EDD of 6/23.

Mine is awaiting shipment also. My blend number was in the 2400's iirc.

My EDD is only 9 days away. I'm hoping it is on account of me being "up the road" (about five hours) from the plant and not a mistake on COTUS.

My Ford Dealer in Belgium told me the car was produced but Jeff and COTUS speak about 4th of June as production/Blend date...? My order number is A347

Is the EDD reliable for EURO deliveries ?

I have sequence number 4713 (number near the word Blend on the window sticker)

Wow, you were not kidding! Awaiting shipment to in transit in one day. My EDD got closer by a day also.

Cool to hear your car moved to "In transit". I have to admit I'm jealous yours moved along that quickly. I'm in Mississauga and mine is still awaiting shipment... Here's hoping our proximity to the factory is advantageous.

Mine finally came up in COTUS. EDD is 6.30. The window sticker even has my name on it /nerd.

I had a 1989 Mustang 2.3 5spd in high school with a whopping 88hp. Slowest car Ive ever owned. Hell, my 2006 Scion xB auto is faster than that thing. LOL! I loved that car and ultimately traded it in for a Focus in 2000 so I could have something reliable for college. (Don't start about ACTUAL reliability of Captain Recall...I mean my Focus.)

Promised myself I'd get another Mustang in 2015...and here we go!

Already have a few parts for it. Is that bad? lulz. :headbonk:

Your EDD progression seems unusual, but hopefully your car is now on the trailer/rail car along-side mine.

Really interested in this. Did you buy from Markville by any chance? Mine's being built in July but if you actually get a 4 day delivery time, the wait will be a heck of a lot easier knowing I have a chance at a similar situation :cheers::ford:

No, Eastcourt. In all fairness, they predicted 6-8 weeks, and it will probably be almost exactly 6 weeks when I pick up the car. The first phase of production took forever and the latter stages "caught up".

I hope you get your car sooner rather than later.

No you won't. You'll have such a blast driving your new Mustang that you won't have time to remember the wait. I've owned mine for 19 days (time FLIES!) and STILL can't wipe the smile off my face.

Well, the dealer called this morning and told me that my car has arrived at the dealership and I can pick her up tomorrow. Built on Monday and at the dealership Thursday...? Is that a record? Not that I'm complaining. Just have to get moving with the parts ordering. ;)

COTUS still shows EDD of 6/6.

I hope that everyone gets their car soon.
