Build Week 6/1

I just found out that my build week is 6/1 also.

ThatCanadianGuy, you should PM Jeff (FordService) with your VIN. He was able to provide me with my build date and EDD even though it doesn't show on COTUS. I've heard that the Canadian orders are slow to update on COTUS.

Sent a message to Jeff. looks like I'm scheduled on July 13th:frusty::frusty::frusty::frusty::frusty::frusty::frusty::frusty::frusty:

I found one identical to the one I ordered about an hour from my house. Sent an email to my salesman asking if the option exists to buy that one and how that would work.:shrug:

Otherwise I'm in it for the long haul

That seems like a really long wait time, I would suggest finding a bigger dealer with more allocation if you don't want to wait that long... I am in Mississauga and my dealer had a large amount of allocation available when I ordered.

I am looking at 5-6 weeks order to delivery time.

Of course the option you mentioned may be available as well.

Did you go to Erinwood? I heard they have a huge sale going on. They have like 25 mustangs left in inventory :eyebulge:. I kinda rushed into my order. I went to look at a used 2014 GT but they sold it a couple days earlier. I had thought about a new v6 so I sat down and priced one out. now we're here :lol:.

Congratulations on the delivery time. My dealer told me 8-10 weeks but it looks like it'll be about 12-14. I had never bought a new car before so allocation wasn't even something that crossed my mind.

I hope everyone's cars arrive soon after their build dates:cheers:

Yes sir I did, good guess. I heard they were decently better at negotiating pricing fairly and it all worked out well. They had 31 Mustangs when I went in to order mine and a lot of them have since gone.

I would not be surprised if they had a sale, they need to clear out all the allocation they have for 2016 I would imagine. I hear ya, its a big jump, I've been contemplating the mustang for the past year almost lol.

The other piece of decent news is that we are considerably closer to Dearborn than many others.

Found an exact car at another dealer near me. Walked-in and made the purchase. No need to wait anymore. :cheers:

Mine moved to "In Production" today on COTUS. Window sticker link doesn't seem to work yet. No other date info on the page for me.

My build week is next week as well! I pm'd Jeff and he was extremely helpful. Ordered 5/01 and EDD is 6/24.
